Thermal Processes
Willbanks Metals is ready to meet your needs with our thermal cutting capabilities, whether it is one piece or one thousand pieces. We offer laser cutting, high-definition plasma cutting and oxy/acet. flame cutting.
• Laser Cutting
- Bystronic 4025 Laser, 98” x 252” table size
- Carbon steel places up to 3/4" thickness
- Stainless steel up to 5/8” thickness
- Aluminum up to 3/8” thickness
• Plasma Cutting
- In December of 2011 we added our new Messer Plasma cutting machine.
- Our 18 ft. x 80 ft. cutting table allows us to stage multiple jobs therefore increasing production efficiency.
- Multiple high-definition rotating bevel heads
- 400 amps of power allows us to cut up to 2-1/2 thick steel with ease.
- Additional capacity: Two Fineline high-definition plasma torches with 200 amps power, 12 ft. x 44 ft. table and 10 ft. x 40 ft.; 2” thick capacity
• Flame Cutting
- Included in our thermal cutting operations is our Multihead Oxy-Fuel cutting system
- 10 ft. x 40 ft. cutting table
- 5 cutting torches for multiple part operation
- CNC controlled
- Track and pattern torch capabilities
